Company History
May 2000 It all began in May 2000, when Alexander Maysov in his
Centre of Intellectual Technologies conducted a marketing research to ascertain
and evaluate possibilities of using new trading technologies in Russia
February 2001
Alexander Maysov and his partner set up a company Martin Group. They bought
20 «Venezia Lux» vending machines from Necta - Zanussi (Italy) and started
operating them in Russia.
February 2002
In addition, Martin Group bought 20 “Kikko IN7” machines from Necta and by
that time operated 40 vending machines in total.
July 2003 Sixty “Kikko IN7” vending machines are sold to first
customers.
October 2003
On 30th of October Alexander Maysov founded his own company
VendLand. It started active sales in Russia of such vending machines as Kikko,
Colibri, Snakky and others, bought from its primary supplier Necta.
October - May 2004
During this period Vendland successfully grew and developed, rapidly enhanced
its sales throughout Russia. It became one of the biggest vending companies in
Russia, operating its own 150 vending machines. Also, it began cooperation with
other foreign companies, such as AM Foods (Denmark), NRI (Germany), GPT (USA),
etc.
May 2004 A new company VendIsland was set up to become the operator
of 180 vending machines of various types.
Today VendLand continues to grow actively both in terms of sales and loyal
customer base. The corporate structure of VendLand has been modified into a
group of companies, each having its own main activities. VendService specializes
in providing technical service solutions of vending machines. VendMedia is
engaged in conducting marketing research, monitoring and analyzing Russian
vending market, promoting vending in Russia as a perspective, promising
business. VendTech is aimed to become an R&D company and to manufacture
additional equipment for vending machines. Our highly qualified and skilled
employees do their best to meet the requirements of every customer. It should be
no surprise that serving clients is at the core of our business. We are always
willing to develop close, based on mutual trust and benefit relationships with
